On the road again ...

We will be away
from August 14 to August 19, so there’ll be no postings until
after that. Tomorrow we travel to the Sunshine Coast Festival
of the Written Arts, incidentally
the oldest writers’ festival in Canada, to see
Naomi
Klein speak. I am
interested in hearing what she’s been investigating
since Shock
Doctrine was published. I
hear that seats for her talk sold out in two hours flat. This fine
festival is run by my incredible sister, Jane.
After that, I’ll be travelling briefly to Saskatchewan to honour the life of my Uncle Al, a true gentle gentleman. I miss you Uncle Al. His sister, my Mother and one of my sisters will also be making the trek.
